Run the Bearskin Trail.  Fast, flat point to point race starting at Nikomas Community Park and finishes at the Bearskin Park in Mincoqua.

The Minocqua No Frills Marathon™ & Half- Marathon keeps it simple and affordable because, at this marathon, it’s all about the race. The race accommodates those who aspire to run their first marathon, as well as veteran runners trying to better their times or qualify for the Boston Marathon (certification #WI12035DM).

ON PACE RACE will again be on the course to set the pace for your skill and ability level.  Look for their banner at the start of the Marathon and Half Marathon.   

Minocqua No Frills Schedule and Starting Waves

Online Registration is $75* – Through Thursday, Sept 2, 2021;

RELAY TEAM EVENT:  Relay Teams of up to 5 members - $160.
*plus 10% service charge for online registration.  Special rate for M

Race Day Rates:  Individual Full and Half Marathon $90; 3-5 member relay teams $180; and 2 member relay teams $135.

There will be 4 transition points available on the course for transitions. The Relay Team must determine where they wish to transition depending upon the number of team members.

Online registration at blueravenproductions.com closes at 11:59 PM on Thursday, Sept 2.  Only those that register online are guaranteed a shirt.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE:

Register and packet pickup in person until Saturday, Sept 4 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Sunday, Sept 5, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am at the American Legion downtown Minocqua.

No Frills Marathon Paper Registration

Please include your expected finish time.

 

Included in Registration:
Busing from the American Legion to the start of the Marathon and Half Marathon.  There will be no bus back to the start at the end of the event.  Please make arrangements to pick up vehicles or other items left at the start.  Race bags will be supplied with a drop off location at the start.  All bags will be returned to the finish line area.

There will be Aid Stations on the course plus the Finish.  The course aid stations will have water and a few will have gummy bear candies.  Gatorade will be at mile 5, 7, 12, 17, 22, and 24.   The finish line will have snacks, water, gatorade, and beer.

Awards:

Marathon and Half Marathon -Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and First Place Marathon Relay.

There are no age group awards for this event.

All participants receive a medal for finishing the event.
